As restoration lead, Maqamigew Anqotumeg has completed the baseline wetland assessment program in 2021, with ongoing assessments as needed. Two wetland remediation projects are currently in the development stage with Maqamigew Anqotumeg is restoration lead.

Maqamigew Anqotumeg had been requested by CBCL limited to provided considerable field support to the Windy Ridge Wind Project by Everwind Fuels in the Summer of 2024. Field support included wetland and rare plant assessment program in 2023.

Partnered with Elsipogtog First Nation and numerous supporting organizations. Amlamgog Climate Adaptation was approved for $933k over a three-year duration with the goal to acquire 100-ha of land within the Inner Bay of Fundy for future conservation, under the Indigenous Lead Area Based Conservation funding stream. Targeted lands are predominantly dykelands with notable opportunities for salt marsh restoration. Land will be restored to salt marsh by 2030, which will be donated to a local Mi’kmaq Land Trust.

Maqamigew Anqotumeg had been requested by WSP to lead the wetland and vegetation assessment for the proposed 32 turbine Strait Shores Wind Center by TransAlta. Assessments include early vegetation and wetland surveys for 2023 and 2024.
